Why “phone number tracker” results can be misleading
People search for a phone number tracker, mobile number tracker, phone locator, or a way to track phone location by phone number. Many pages imply that typing a number will display an exact point on a map. That is not how normal iPhone GPS access works.
A phone number does not contain live GPS coordinates. Exact location comes from the device and requires operating-system permission. Mobile carriers and emergency authorities operate under different legal and technical rules that are not available to ordinary apps.
