Location Tracker: GPS Friends brings live location sharing, private invitations, place alerts, saved places, and nearby search into one iPhone app.
Private ways to connect
Invite someone with a private link, rotating six-character code, or QR code. Remove a friend whenever the connection is no longer needed.
Location sharing controls
Pause sharing without deleting your circle. When sharing is paused, the app clears the last server-side coordinates.
Arrival and departure alerts
Create a radius around a saved zone and choose whether iPhone should notify you when you enter, leave, or do both.
Saved places
Pin home, work, school, meeting spots, or any useful destination and keep them on the same map as your circle.
Nearby places
Search for coffee, food, hospitals, and fuel near the map center, powered by Apple Maps search.
Routes to friends
Calculate a route to a sharing friend from your current location and show it directly on the map.
Battery context
See an optional battery-level reading when a connected device supplies it, which can explain why updates may pause.
Manual SOS sharing
Prepare your coordinates and choose where to share them. The app does not send automatically and does not contact emergency services.

Switch between your circle, saved places, alerts, nearby search, and settings without leaving the map. Standard and satellite map appearances are available.
Important requirements and limits
The app requires iOS 17 or later. Location access is requested in context. Arrival or departure alerts while the app is closed may require Always Location Access, and iOS will display its own reminders about background location use.
Location accuracy and update timing vary with device permissions, network connectivity, battery state, and iOS system limits. Location Tracker is not an emergency service and should not be used as a substitute for emergency help.
